ConnectBlue, a global provider of industrial wireless products, has signed an agreement with Sigma Connectivity, a Swedish IT consulting firm owned by Danir, for new products supporting the Internet of Things (IoT).
Based on Classic Bluetooth, Bluetooth low energy, WLAN and multi-radio solutions, connectBlue products include ready-to-embed wireless modules as well as ready-to-use wireless serial / Ethernet port adapters and access points. Sigma Connectivity will develop automated test fixtures to be used as test tools in the production facilities where connectBlue’s latestMultiradio module OWL355is being produced. The same system will be used for all connectBlue’s products.
The automated test fixtures are designed for high volume production and will add flexibility through modular design and increase the current capacity.

Sigma Connectivitywas established in 2013 whenSigmaacquired Sony Mobile’s development unit for mobile hardware in Lund, Sweden. Sigma Connectivity encompasses 30 years of experience from the development of mobile products.
