The unit features two new enhancements: The ViewON 3 Web HMI works with the company's Talk2M cloud connectivity solution to allow remote machines and equipment to be accessed from any mobile platform. This advanced graphic interface is used to design animated HMI pages, now includes HTML5 and CSS3 technologies that offer full compatibility with tablet or smartphone type mobile devices, which aids in real-time decision making and diagnostics. In addition, the gateway is now fitted with a Wi-Fi expansion board, which makes it possible to connect to the Internet while not having to connect on the company's LAN network, which facilitates the management of the network's security. This Wi-Fi type expansion also provides backup Internet access for industrial machine to machine applications. Wi-Fi technology offers free, high-speed access and can be easily deployed (no cables, etc.).
