The fully solid state starters are simple and easy to set up, requiring just two user adjustments: the motor ramp-up time and initial torque, which can be independently adjusted via the built-in potentiometers. A green LED indicates supply voltage presence. The ramp-up and full-voltage indication are provided through an orange LED. The starters do not require a dedicated control signal, so less wiring is involved. Despite their simplicity, the devices can help reduce motor starting current by 40% compared to a direct on-line start.
