Parker Automation Manager (PAM) is the integrated development environment used to program PAC, the company’s all-in-one machine controls solution that combines PLC, HMI, and motion control functionality into a single device. The new software features the ability to program multiple Parker servo drives through a single point of connection through the PAC; the OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA), a machine-to-machine communication protocol that has seen wide adoption across the automation industry; an updated simulation mode; a fully integrated Parker Drive Developer (PDD) package for the AC30 drives in PAM; extended PLCOpen4 support; the ability to sync the PAC clock to an external clock; and updates to the latest of Parker Libraries (PKR lib), including the ability to configure P-series and temperature control.
