This video distribution platform offers one-to-one unicast or one-to-many multicast extension of H.264 encoded high-quality digital video with support for full HD 1080p and 1920x1200 @60Hz via standard wired (CATx) and/or wireless (Wi-Fi) connectivity. System-on-Chip (SoC) technology provides high-processing performance that is optimized with dedicated H.264 encoding/decoding functionality while still providing processing capabilities for network management, USB enablement, and RS-232 communications. The SoC architecture also enables intelligent communication between connected network appliances for robust integrated hardware and software management of the devices. This allows the accompanying PowerStream software to offer remote system-operator control to conveniently schedule, monitor, update, and otherwise completely manage all hardware and content operations on the distribution network.
