Safety Automation Forum Announced

Protecting people, property, processes and profits requires an integrated safety system. To address this challenge, Rockwell Automation Inc. andAutomation Worldare teaming up to present the first-ever Safety Automation Forum.

Safety Automation Forum will take place on Nov. 18, 2008, in Nashville, Tenn., at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center—one day prior to Automation Fair, Rockwell Automation's annual Users Group event.

At the event, industry speakers and experts will describe safety’s importance within the manufacturing industry and discuss why safety is good business. Key topics will include: Safety Risk Assessments, Safety in the 21st Century and Proving the Value of Safety.

Event attendees will learn from leading authorities at Chevron, Goodyear, Procter & Gamble, Sherwin-Williams, TÜV and other key organizations as they share their expertise on best practices, risk assessment, evolving standards and how integrated safety solutions can improve the bottom line.

The one-day agenda, moderated by Automation World’s Editor in Chief, Gary Mintchell, will provide ample opportunities for questions, feedback sessions and networking with industry peers and experts.
