The software guides users through an intuitive selection of these terminal blocks, based on characteristics such as function, current, voltage and size, or by block type or part number. A photo of the selected terminal block is shown along with dimensions and ratings. After composition of the terminal rail assembly, individual blocks can be jumpered and/or marked, and other accessories added. Plausibility checks are made with respect to end plates, partitions, covers and jumpers. Along with a bill of materials, the completed rail assembly drawing can be displayed, printed and exported electronically as either a .dxf or .zip file. The custom marking information can also be directly imported into the vendor’s Wiemarc 2.0 software used for the Wieplot 500 marking tag plotter.
