More Power, Smaller Motors

The MaxPlusPlus (MPP) series of brushless servo motors offer lower inertia and higher power, all in a smaller package than conventional motors.

MPP motors feature segmented lamination technology, which can yield up to 40 percent higher torque per unit size than conventionally wound servo motors. “Potted” stators improve heat transfer for better thermal efficiency, resulting in increased torque at the motor shaft. High-performance neodymium magnets are employed for higher acceleration rates. The MPP’s segmented lamination technology allows the motor to be shorter, because end-turns found in conventionally wound servo motors are not required. The technology also allows higher torque density, because each lamination section is machine wound, allowing more precisely placed copper and more copper in the winding. MPP motors are available in frame sizes 92, 100, 115, 142, 190, 230 and 270mm.
