TheSNAP-AIVRMS-iis designed for applications involved AC/DC voltage measurement. TheSNAP AIMA2-ican be used for monitoring very low currents. TheSNAP-AOA-23-iSRCfeatures built-in, isolated loop sourcing and can be used to output current values to industrial devices. “These new analog I/O modules offer full isolation between field devices connected to the same module,” says Tom Edwards, senior application engineer at the vendor. “This electrical isolation eliminates the possibility of any damage resulting from differing operating voltages for the connected devices, and protects against damage to devices that may share a module with an overloaded or otherwise malfunctioning device.” All four modules are priced at $265 each.
Isolated Analog Modules
Four new isolated analog modules are part of the vendor’s flagship SNAP Ethernet systems family. The SNAP-AIARMS-i can be used for applications involving AC/DC current measurement.
