The innovative machine is controlled by an integrated solution from B&R with a custom HMI panel that can be used to perform control and diagnostic tasks across the entire Krones production line. The motion control system is fully integrated within the machine automation system and networked via POWERLINK -- an open, real-time communication protocol based on standard Ethernet -- to provide safe, highly repeatable and reliable machine automation.
