Schneider Electric’s FDT testing site has been re-accredited and has expanded its capabilities to provide FDT2 DTM testing. The lab has a long track record for certifying FDT enabled solutions, it began certifying FDT 1.2 six years ago.
The lab, which tests all Schneider Electric DTMs before they are released to the market, opened in 2008 in Seligenstadt/Germany. It was moved to the Machine Solution Headquarters in Marktheidenfeld/Germany in 2013.
In accordance to the rules of the FDT Group, test centers are required to be re-certified every three years. The Schneider Electric test center successfully passed its audit and is now one of the first test sites performing FDT2 conformance testing.
