麦考克Canada has made a multi-million investment to expand its London, Ontario manufacturing facility to enable the transitioning of the blending, bottling, and packaging of French’s Ketchup from a third-party Canadian supplier to in-house production. Full production of the ketchup, made with 100% Canadian-grown tomatoes, began at the facility last week.

To celebrate the expansion, residents of London who live along a designated maple-leaf-shaped map received a gift of local favorites on their doorstep from French’s and Club House, another McCormick brand. Also, a $5,000 donation was made to the London Food Bank. As an extension of the company’s My Home is Canada campaign, the brands are honoring their hometown and local community.

The Processing Zone Returns to PACK EXPO
As a direct response to industry demands, The Processing Zone is returning to PACK EXPO Las Vegas and Healthcare Packaging EXPO (Sept. 27-29, 2021, Las Vegas Convention Center). The show will showcase front-of-line solutions from food processing/systems, food safety, engineering, design and construction services and more, according to show producer, PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. It will also offer targeted education via its processing-dedicated Innovation Stage.
