Nestlé USA has released a plan to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, a phased approach to halve its emissions by 2030 and realize net zero by 2050. As part of the plan, several leading Nestlé U.S. brands have announced new commitments to achieve carbon neutrality, includingSweet Earth Foods,which is aiming to achieve this goal by 2025, andGarden of Life, which has committed toattain carbon neutrality by 2022.
Popular international brands sold in the U.S.,Perrier, S.Pellegrino, and Acqua Panna,are set to achieve carbon neutrality by 2022, while every cup of Nespresso coffeewill be carbon neutral by 2022, and100% ofNestlé USA'screamer portfolio will beconverted to fully recyclable bottles the same year.
