Along with strategic partners Domino Amjet and Omega Design Corporation, pharmaceutical packaging solutions provider 3C! Packaging will host a special event-long Serialization Pavilion during INTERPHEX NYC 2015, April 21-23 at the Jacob K. Javits Center. The pavilion will take place throughout the three-day show at 3C! Packaging’s Booth #1724. The forum will serve to showcase new technologies, as well as make track-and-trace experts from each company available for ongoing Q&A.

The Serialization Pavilion brings together three industry-leading providers whose combined products and services showcase a comprehensive track-and-trace strategy for potential customers: 3C! Packaging manufactures custom folding cartons, printed literature, inserts/outserts, labels/foils, etc, while Domino Amjet is a prominent supplier of premium industrial printers and equipment, including solutions that print machine-readable codes for serialization compliance. Omega Design Corp.’s capabilities include integrated solutions for individual container identification to support initiatives such as brite stock (private labeling), container serialization (pharma track and trace), and brand protection. Omega Design also manufactures, supplies and services a variety of material handling equipment including bottle unscramblers, bottle-puck handling systems, shrink bundlers, secondary orienters, and canister- and pouch-style desiccant feeders.

Among the machines on display at the Serialization Pavilion will be Domino Amjet’s D320i Laser Coder, ideal for coding at high line speeds on a wide variety of materials. The versatile machine can print serial numbers and batch codes; 2D data matrix codes and bar codes; logos and graphics; and even complicated European and Asian characters

另一个包裹将Domino M200的角落,has the ability to handle variable label sizes and whose innovative pad design ensures accurate label placement for greater downstream barcode reading. The compact modular makeup of each M200 applicator affords easy integration, while a robust overall machine design ensures reliable operation even in 24/7 environments.

The M-Series Corner Wrap Labeler will be integrated with Omega Design’s Intelli-Pac Manual Case Packing Station for serialized product, which affords the ability to seamlessly integrate layer aggregation technology, a case labeler, connectivity to data management systems, a case loading table, operator touch screen and vision systems. The Intelli-Pac is highly configurable for both manual and semi-automatic operations.

新的创新Saves Valuable Package Real Estate
The Serialization Pavilion also will see the debut of a sophisticated new coating for coding applications. 3C! Packaging’s Clear Code is a proprietary laser imaging coating offering precision, functionality and consistency without intruding upon limited design and product information space. The next-generation system – which, during INTERPHEX will be showcased on a Domino AmJet printer using varying substrates – employs an industrial CO2 laser, which works with a clear coating by causing a color change reaction to produce a positive contrast image. The result is enhanced clarity and contrast.

Developed in conjunction with DataLase Ltd., Clear Code offers two significant improvements over traditional coding and competing clear laser etching applications. First, Clear Code avoids marking techniques that require printed dark blocks to decode laser etched information. Second, the process successfully achieves an especially accurate, opaque image. As such, the Clear Code process requires no inks, ribbons, applicators or other costly consumables, simplifying the process and making it more cost-effective and eco-friendly than current technologies that utilize hazardous production line materials.
