Designed to provide a secure, touch-proof connection for high-current conductors, the selos WRT Series terminals feature Wieland’s proven vibration-proof screw connections for railway, heavy equipment, industrial, and utility applications. Offered in five sizes, the series is now available with the following cURus ratings:

WRT Series 35: (AWG 14 – 1/0)/M6 bolt, 130A/1000V rating
WRT Series 70: (AWG 14 – 3/0)/M8 bolt, 175A/1000V rating
WRT Series 120: (AWG 10 – 250kcmil)/M10 bolt, 310A/1000V rating
WRT Series 185: (AWG 8 – 500kcmil)/M12 bolt, 380A/1000V rating
WRT Series 300: (AWG 6 – 600kcmil)/M16 bolt, 510A/1000V rating

“The new selos WRT Series terminals provide power systems design engineers with a safe, maintenance-free, vibration-proof connection point for high-current conductors,” said Martin Lalonde, applications engineer at Wieland Electric.

All of the selos WRT Series terminals are designed to mount on standard TS-35 DIN rails, and are sold with nuts and integrated spring washers. Each terminal is capable of accommodating two cable lugs per connection point, and features a touch-proof cover with a test opening for safe voltage measurement. The WRT series also includes cross connection jumpers to provide simple and reliable high-current potential distribution solutions.
