ROSS continues its long-standing tradition of customer education and safety training with the first-ever fully integrated electrical and fluid power machine safeguarding training program. ROSS' decades of experience training customers and helping solve their safety issues has demonstrated that a thorough approach to safety control system evaluation and design is the best method for the success of one's safety program. This eight-hour course will also address how integrating machine safeguarding early in the machine design process can be beneficial to a company’s bottom line.
Topics to be covered include current safety standards, hazard and risk assessment, integration of safety devices, lockout/tagout, and pneumatic and electrical components. The Total Machine Safety courses are eligible for 0.7 CEU (Continuing Education Units) or 7 PDH (Professional Development Hour) credits. Attendants will receive a comprehensive workbook with a detailed reference material appendix and a one-year subscription to the bimonthly Total Machine Safety e-newsletter.
