The presenters in this video from The Automation Conference 2013 worked on the implementation of an online instrument asset monitoring system at Nova Chemicals’ Corunna, Ontario, plant. This system has been used to save hundreds of man hours during a major outage at the plant. Nova Chemicals supplies some 30 percent of the petrochemicals made in Canada. The presenters are Ralph Whitney, Instrument & Electrical Reliability Specialist at Nova Chemicals and Blair Fraser, Process Automation lead for Lifecycle Services at Lakeside Process Controls.
